Nestled in the heart of Texas, Kickin K Ranch is more than just a cattle ranch—it’s a way of life. Established in 2014, we’re a family-run operation fueled by passion, hard work, and a commitment to sustainable ranching.

From our majestic Akaushi bulls to our strong Brangus and Charolais females, we take pride in raising quality cattle with care and expertise. Our mini herd, featuring Highland-cross cows and mini Jerusalem donkeys, adds a unique charm to the ranch. And yes—our animals get dressed up for the holidays, because ranch life should be fun too!

Run by a husband-and-wife duo, Steve and Danielle, Kickin K Ranch is built on decades of dedication. Steve, a retired veteran and current civil servant, and Danielle, a longtime federal civilian, work full-time while also managing every aspect of the ranch—just the two of them. From baling hay at their third property to volunteering at the San Antonio Rodeo, they’re always learning, growing, and finding ways to make the ranch better.

We’re proud members of the South Texas Cattle Raisers Association and the Akaushi Association, dedicated to raising strong, healthy herds while preserving the beauty of the land.
